Farewell to the MOOC #fslt12

The MOOC is over.  I’ve got to say it was great and I got a lot out of it-being able to reflect on my time at The Map Squad.  I’ve been speaking to Tina (runs the organisation) about sorting out a ‘Digital Engagement Strategy’ for them. I went to a great session at SAF (Southwark Arts Forum) with Tania Jackson from red idea-marketing and business consultancy.  Potentially Tania can mentor Tina.

Looks like I will be in E1 around Autumn to facilitate all these goings on.  Hopefully we can strengthen ‘The Map Squad’ and ‘Poetry in Wood’ and all the great work that is going on with people with Learning Disabilities in Tower Hamlets.

Potentially too I may be going into the PRU (Pupil Referral Unit) at Great Yarmouth to do some work.  There are a few other irons in the fire too which will hopefully come into focus in the next few months-among them a curated conversation with Wikiquals and a connection made with an organisation called ‘DPI’ (I think) who are interested in working with so-called ‘NEETS’.

What I would really like to do now is to jack up my own creative output which has been somewhat dormant for a while.  Maybe go some where to write where I can’t be distracted (stimulated?) by Social Media.  I’m going to Liverpool in a few weeks to see an old artist pal so we’ll see what happens there too.
